About

In order to celebrate coming out of lock down and the Christmas party missed out on, TaxAssist has decided to eat mince-pies & pull crackers at the top of Pen Y Fan, all whilst raising money for a local charity. Pen Y Fan is the highest mountain in South Wales. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/brecon-beacons/trails/pen-y-fan-and-corn-du-circular-walk. This event is taking place on Friday June 25th, which is actually Christmas Day in Australia!

The Nelson Trust

The Nelson Trust is a Stroud based charity that brings belief, hope and long-term recovery to people whose lives have been torn apart by addiction and the multiple and complex needs that come with it. It provides residential addiction treatment to men and women. The trust also support women in the community from centres in Bridgwater, Bristol, Gloucester and Swindon who are in contact with the criminal justice system. The charity believes that change is possible and everyone has the capacity to overcome addiction and trauma to put the past behind them and enjoy lifeline recovery. The website http://www.nelsontrust.com is full of information about it.
